Self-portraiture is a very important part of my practice as an artist, and my favorite type of piece to create. I love to create pieces about intangible things such as feelings or memories or even the soul. I find it so fascinating how one can dive into so many different topics such as identity, the body, my past, and my emotions through means of different settings, backgrounds, and forms, all while maintaining the same exact subject (myself) in every piece!
